Welcome to the Corner Cupboard, somewhere special and that little bit different for you to visit. A popular day time restaurant and charming shop set in an old school House nestled in a little village of Birdforth in North Yorkshire a few miles away from James Herriot Territory, Thirsk.
Our licensed Restaurant offers delicious home made scones and tea cakes, light lunch and more substantial meals. Why not try our popular Pork Stroganoff or our specialty Salmon Cakes made to our secret Norwegian recipe washed down with a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Or simply come along and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with a latte or our deluxe hot chocolate (you won’t need anything after that!)
The Corner Cupboard provides a unique shopping experience, with a warm array of golds, pinks, creams, pretty drapes and flickering candles filling what has often been described as an Aladdin's Cave of beautiful interior and gift ideas. After dining with us, take time to enjoying browsing around our boutique store with handpicked furnishings and accessories filling every nook and cranny and we promise you'll fall in love with something a little bit different and special.
